The New Dropship Horizon

Hey guys a quick look at the up coming Horizon Dropship. The design was based on a Westland Wessex roughly. It will come with two diffrent sizes of cockpit housings. 1 short 1 long, i could not make up my mind on which i liked. this it the first of 5 drop ships coming soon. Designed for 15mm games , but it can be used for a 5 man team in 28mm games. let me know what you think.

Looks good.

Might I suggest a rear-firing defense turret to go behind the short cockpit? There looks to be enough room.

Really like the look of this Chris! Again you design stuff that looks quite different from the most of the other 15mm stuff out there (nice as that might be). Diversity is good!

My first thoughts were of the Spruce Goose. Haha!

Very eager to see the other four models. My EarthSec forces need a dropship for sure. :)

thanks guys , yeah i thought about a turret behind the smaller CP area , but there is a intake , i was afraid of too much stuff, but i do have a turret that fits that area , so i will take a pic with it there and one on the lower tail.

So when does it come out and how much? I can't wait to support your Dropship project.

That looks superb. I'm looking forward to seeing the other dropships also.

That is a very retro sleek design. What kind of time frame are you looking at for the other designs?
Weeks.. months?

What are the dimensions of this?
I'm interested in it for 28mm but I see that you list that it might only be suited for a 5 man squad.
Also, is there any chance you'd be willing to sell the engine pods by themselves? I would love to do a 1/48 Mi-24 Hind conversion using those!
